BEHIND GUITAR HARBOR´S VINTAGE GUITARS
Hi, I’m Arne from Guitar Harbor. I picked up my first guitar when I was five years old in the quiet fields of Schleswig-Holstein — and to be honest, I never really put it back down. Somewhere between those early chords and the years that followed, guitars became more than wood and wire to me. They became stories, soul, and a bit of magic.
Life took me on a short detour through an economics degree — let’s just say it didn’t quite play in tune with who I am. So I followed the music instead. For years I restored guitars, one after another, hundreds of them. Each one taught me something: patience, craftsmanship, and that every old instrument has a heartbeat, if you listen closely enough.
Now I’m here in Eutin, with a wonderful wife, two kids, and a workshop full of guitars that needed a second chance. I try to work sustainably, because good things should last — especially things with history.
I’m not here for quick sales. I’m here to build trust, long-term connections, and to put great instruments back into the hands of people who love them.
If you’re into vintage guitars with stories to tell, you’re in the right place.
